၂၀၁၃ ခုနှစ်တွင် မွန်ပြည်နယ်လွှတ်တော်မှ ပြဋ္ဌာန်းသည့် ကျေးရွာထင်းစိုက်ခင်းဥပဒေဖြစ်သည်။ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်တစ်ရပ်မှာ မြေ အသုံးချမှုတန်ဖိုး ပိုမိုရရှိစေရန်ဖြစ်သည်။ ဤဥပဒေအရ ကျေးရွာထင်းစိုက်ခင်းအတွင်းသို႔ ကျူးကျော်ဝင်ရောက်စိုက်ပျိုးခြင်း၊ ကျူးကျော်နေထိုင်ခြင်းကို တားမြစ်ထားပြီး ဖောက်ဖျက်ကျူးလွန်ပါက ထောင်ဒဏ် ဖြစ်စေ ငွေဒဏ်ဖြစ်စေ၊ ဒဏ်နှစ်ရပ်လုံးဖြစ်စေ ကျခံရမည်ဖြစ်သည်။
Mon State Hluttaw enacted the village firewood plantation law in 2013. One of the objectives is to derive more benefits from land management. According to this law, it is prohibited to trespass, cultivate or live in firewood plantation, and any violation will be punished with fine, imprisonment or both.
