Profiles of State and Region Hluttaw Speakers
The National League for Democracy, the winning party in 2015 general election, holds 12 out of 14 speaker posts. Among 14 speakers, the speaker from Mon State Hluttaw is the only female.
Most speakers are between the ages 56-60 and 61-65.
